What a copy needs to do

  • Weekly grid of hours per project for each person
  • Live timer as a second way to log time
  • Projects and tasks list
  • All entries kept in one Google Sheet
  • Weekly summary of hours per person and project

How to build it yourself

  1. Next.js route handlers on Vercel save the weekly grid and timer entries.3
  2. New entries are added to a Google Sheet with the values.append method.4
  3. Edits to past entries use the values.update method.5
  4. A Vercel Cron job builds the weekly summary every Monday through an HTTP GET request.6
  5. The sheet is reached through the buyer's own Composio account, scoped to one user ID.7

What a copy leaves out

  • Desktop, mobile and kiosk apps
  • Activity monitoring and GPS tracking
  • Invoicing and expenses
